How To Refill It
- Unscrew the top and lift out the plastic round cap.
- Fill to the shoulder of the bottle, not up into the neck.
- Rest the top back on and tip the bottle once or twice to wet the wood.
- Press the plastic round cap firmly back in, then screw the top down tight.
Please be careful: don't oversaturate the top, and make sure the plastic round cap is fully seated before you hang it. Wipe up any spills right away, and keep the bottle and the oils away from children and pets.

How much oil does a Harmonie car diffuser hold?
Half an ounce. It arrives filled with the scent you pick, so there is nothing else to buy.
How do I use it?
- Remove the top and then remove round cap from the bottle.
- Put the top back onto the bottle.
- Twist the top until it is about half to three-quarters closed.
- Turn the bottle upside down for 5-7 seconds to let the oil soak into the wood, then turn it right side up.
- Take off the top briefly to put the plastic, round cap back onto the bottle.
- Put the top back on and twist it until it is firmly closed.
Is the Harmonie Car Diffuser refillable, or does it use cartridges?
It is fully refillable — there are no cartridges or pods to buy. The glass bottle comes filled with half an ounce of the fragrance oil you choose, and you refill it from a bottle of Harmonie or Sedona Sky diffusing oil whenever it runs low.
Which oils can I put in it?
Any Harmonie or Sedona Sky diffusing oil. All twenty-four scents in the table above are available as refills. We don't recommend thick or water-based products, which can clog the wood top.
How much does it cost and where is it made?
$18 each, filled with your scent. Harmonie Home & Body is a small-batch maker in Scottsdale, Arizona, and we ship within the United States, free on retail orders of $50 or more in the continental U.S.
How long does one bottle last in a car?
Usually three to four weeks. A hot car pushes the scent out faster; a cool garage stretches it.
Can I refill it with a different scent?
Yes. Let it run dry, wipe the bottle out, and fill it with something else. The cap keeps a little of the old scent for a day or so, then settles.
What is the difference between the four finishes?
Black, Gold and Silver share the same faceted cube bottle with a colored cap and a braided cord in a matching color. Natural Wood is a different bottle — a cut prism of clear glass with a carved wood pyramid cap and a jute cord with a wood bead.
Will it leak?
Not if the round cap is pressed all the way in and the top is screwed down tight. The round cap controls the flow; the top holds it in place and carries the scent.
Does it work outside a car?
Yes. It works anywhere with a little air movement or warmth — a bathroom, a closet, a home office, beside a lamp.
Is it safe around pets?
Cats are sensitive to a handful of oils — tea tree, peppermint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, clove and wintergreen come up most often. If your cat has reacted to a scented product before, start with a drop or two and give the room some air. Birds have very sensitive airways, so we'd suggest not placing a diffuser in the same space as one. We do not use any of these oils at this time.
