What you actually get

New scents before they go public

Every new fragrance starts as a small test batch. Subscribers hear about those first, and they are usually the ones who tell us whether a scent is worth putting into full production. Several of the fragrances on the site now exist because subscribers asked for them.

Refill reminders that save you money

Our refillable products are cheaper to refill than to replace, and the refills ship with pre-paid return postage. A short note at roughly the point you are running low is more useful than a discount on something you already own.

How to actually use what you bought

Most candles underperform for reasons that have nothing to do with the candle: the first burn was too short, the wick was never trimmed, or the room is larger than the candle was made for. We share the specific fixes — how to set a proper melt pool, why coconut wax behaves differently from paraffin and soy, and how to get a scent to carry through a whole room instead of one corner.

Seasonal and small-batch releases

Some fragrances are made once a year in limited quantity. Balsam Fir and Pumpkin Spice sell out. Subscribers get told when they land rather than finding out afterward.
