Why a superior burn time?
The combination of slow-burning coconut wax and natural, clean-burning oils is designed to create a longer-lasting candle experience than many soy or beeswax candles. After approximately the first 15 minutes of use, the candle typically begins to form a liquid melt pool. That pool is primarily oil with a small amount of wax.
Because the natural oils carry much of the fragrance experience, the candle can burn more like an oil lamp than a conventional wax-only candle. The result is a pleasant scent and a long-lasting experience in both the 8 oz and 11 oz sizes.
Because this formula does not require petroleum oil to improve how the wax burns, it produces no black smoke while burning or when extinguished. If another candle is putting black smoke into your air or leaving dark traces on walls, the difference may be in the candle’s formulation and the additives used to support its burn.
